We are currently looking for a DevOps Solution Architect at one of our locations in Aachen, Bensheim, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Munich, Regensburg, Nuremberg, Saarbrücken, Wiesbaden or Würzburg to strengthen our team. As DevOps Solution Architect (m/w/d) you are part of our team, "Professional Services" in the Middle Region. In this role you are responsible for the support and comprehensive support of IT projects - from the presales phase to the development of technical solutions to the implementation and transfer to the company. Specifically, you support the design, implementation and optimization of IT infrastructures, with the focus on Kubernetes, taking into account proven DevOps practices. You perform requirements analysis to identify the optimal solutions for our customers and develop architectural designs in close coordination with adjacent specialist departments. They take over the strategic and operational advice and implementation of Kubernetes introduction and migration projects in the regulated environment of on-premises and cloud environments. This includes the automation of deployments and the integration of CI/CD pipelines. They create technical documentation and guide themed customer workshops. You will ensure the performance, safety and reliability of the Kubernetes environments by implementing monitoring and logging solutions, performing optimizations and accompanying regular audits. They act as an interface between technicality and technology and take over reporting at C-level level. In addition, build deployment workflows using GitOps tools and transfer the Kubernetes clusters to the customer operating teams. You can do this with completed IT-oriented training - for example as a specialist (m/w/d) - or a comparable degree - e.g. informatics/business informatics, but also a cross-entry is possible with appropriate expertise and industry knowledge. Long-standing professional experience in the project business, including the development of IT infrastructures, successful execution of customer projects and experience in the system house business. Technical focus in one or more of the following areas: - Container platforms (e.g. OpenShift, Rancher, RKE2) - Software architecture and Microservices (e.g. IstIO, Consul) - GitOps Tools (e.g. GitLab, ArgoCD, Flux) - Security Tools (e.g. RHACM, RHACS, Aqua Security, Sydigs Courage to take responsibility and to communicate decisions.
