The Statistical Office is the competence centre and central service provider for data, analyses and elections within the city administration of Stuttgart. The area of electoral and financial statistics is responsible for the preparation and implementation of local and parliamentary elections, the election of the juvenile councils, the election of the Schöff/innen and the administrative judges in Stuttgart. The central task is the preparation of the local election on 08.03.2026 in Stuttgart. In particular, they are responsible for the legal aspects of electoral implementation in close cooperation with the Elections Head of Division.
