The Klinikum Lippe is a university maximum provider with 1,200 stationary beds and 27 clinics and institutes in municipal sponsorship. The Klinikum Lippe is part of the Health Lippe Group. Support of health lip and indirectly of the Klinikum Lippe is the circle lip. At the three locations of the clinic – in Detmold, in Lemgo and in Bad Salzuflen, 2,800 employees provide 50,000 stationary cases per year and 120,000 outpatient patients. Since 2018, the Klinikum Lippe as Campus Lippe, together with the Klinikum Bielefeld and the Ev. Hospital Bethel, has been the University Hospital OWL of the Medical Faculty of Bielefeld University. Within the women's clinic are the gynecological center, the breast center, the dysplasia unit, the perinatal center level 1 and the prenatal diagnosis and therapy (DEGUM II). The entire operational spectrum of female medicine (including the gynecological radical operations, all malignant and benign minimally invasive operations (incl. robot ass. ‘DaVinci’). As a certified pelvic floor centre, all common procedures of pelvic floor surgery are offered. The clinic has ambulances for prenatal diagnosis (DEGUM II), child and youth ecology and dysplasias of the cervix and vulva. In the certified breast centre of Lemgo, more than 200 women are operated with mammary carcinoma each year.
