Computer Scientist/Engineer Process Automation & Digitization (m/f/d)

Radiation protection is one of the key elements for our most important goal – the protection and safety of people and the environment. This is not only about operational monitoring on site in the plants. Radiation protection is also associated with administrative processes – e.g. in personal dosimetry, nuclear material monitoring or the accounting of radioactive substances – in order to document compliance with legal requirements and to be able to demonstrate at any time. Our Technical-Administrative Security department takes care of the collection and processing of this data and ensures that efficient and KTE-wide uniform processes are continuously developed for this purpose. In addition to administrative radiation protection, the team also takes care of the design and management of other safety-relevant processes, such as the establishment of digital and analog training formats and the support of the assignments in the KTE.

You analyze the processes for all areas of administrative security and develop solutions for their automation and digitization. The implementation will be carried out in close coordination with the responsible colleagues (m/w/d) and with our IT department or external IT companies. You digitize forms and create technical possibilities to digitally reprocess the entered data and archive it in our document management system. You regularly check the processes in administrative security for optimization potentials. You coordinate the regular revision and updating of process descriptions and application aids. You are responsible for the implementation and documentation of data protection requirements in the context of the process definition in accordance with our data protection.

You have a degree in the field of computer science, business informatics, engineering or comparable. As an alternative, you will bring IT knowledge and professional experience in the field of digitalization and automation to your degree. New technical and AI-assisted tools will inspire you and you will enjoy teaching yourself. Ideally, you have knowledge of programming or script languages. You have very good Excel knowledge, ideally you have already worked with MS Forms and Power Automate. You work structured and solution-oriented and also find pragmatic solutions for highly regulated processes to make them more efficient. You are communicative, like to exchange with different disciplines and involve users (m/w/d) proactively in the solution invention. You have German knowledge at least on C1 level and convince with a very good oral and written expressability.
