The Bergische Universität Wuppertal is a dynamic, research-oriented campus university. In the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies, in the teaching area Didactics of English (chair Prof. Dr. David Gerlach), we seek support.

• Teaching commitment to the extent of 2 LVS in the Bachelor's programme "English Teaching Office" or in the Master of Education's study programme
• Support for administrative and audit tasks
• Participation in the organisation, planning and implementation of specialist training
• Participation in research projects of the Chair “Didaktik des Englisches” (Prof. Dr. Gerlach), in particular on English-Didactic Profession- und Professionalisierungsforschung.
• Support for scientific publications
• Promotional project in the field of English teachers and professional research

• Higher academic degree (Master of Education or comparable) in English (Anglistik/Amerikanistik)
• Very good English skills in word and writing
• Interest in a doctorate

It is a qualification body within the meaning of the Science-Time Contract Act (WissZeitVG), which serves to promote a doctoral degree. The place is to be occupied for the duration of the doctorate, but for the first time up to 3 years. An extension to the completion of the doctorate is possible within the limitation limits of the WissZeitVG.
