Chief Physician (m/w/d) Geriatrics

We are looking for 01.01.2026 to build and establish a geriatric department full-time for our Klinik Schorndorf Senior Consultant (m/w/d) With the Rems-Murr-Klinikum Winnenden and the Rems-Murr-Klinik Schorndorf, we provide qualified central and regular services for people in the Rems-Murr-Kreis and beyond. In 22 specialist clinics with a total of 915 planned beds, around 51,000 patients are hospitalized each year by around 3000 employees. As a result of the increasing importance of the geriatric treatment spectrum, the Rems-Murr-Klinik Schorndorf in 2026 will release the Geriatrie from the Department of General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and build it as an independent specialist department. Together with the geriatric focus and the geriatric institutional collective, we can ensure a comprehensive geriatric care of our patients. An age traumatology should round off the treatment spectrum in the future. A specialized team of several occupational groups (doctors (m/w/d), therapists (m/w/d), nursing staff (m/w/d), -) together with the patients, pursues the goal of achieving the highest possible level of autonomy and quality of life.
