The Bistum Mainz with the Bischöflichen Ordinariat as a central administrative authority is an employer for currently approx. 5200 people. It covers about 7,700 square kilometers predominantly in the federal states of Hessen and Rhineland-Palatinate. In the Bishöflichen Ordinariat, Audit Office, a position shall be placed at the next possible time as: Internal supervisor (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) Reference number 69 / 2026 Full-time job (39 hours per week, partable, unlimited) Internal audit means more than auditing for us. The focus is on the independent and objective assessment of processes, structures and internal control mechanisms to create transparency, strengthen processes and effectively support the organisation. Preparation and implementation of audits and preparation of audit reports and follow-up of agreed measures in the organisational units of the Bishöflichen Ordinariat analysis and evaluation of processes and advice from managers; Development of recommendations and action plans Participation in the further development of internal audit processes and methods Participation in the annual audits of sub-sector foundations Executing special examinations for the clarification of facts (e.g. in case of suspicion of doless actions) Monitoring trends and developments in internal auditing, in particular in the context of DIIR and IIA, and deriving impulses for the further development of revision work Cooperation with external auditors, consultants and auditors

successfully completed university studies (Bachelor) of economics pronounced analytical, and strategic skills, mediation skills and interest in the task in internal audit Professional experience in internal auditing, auditing, controlling, risk management or a comparable analytical function are welcome.
