Are you looking for an activity with independent tasks, professional exchange and cooperation with different professional groups? Then you are in the breathing therapist team - certified by the German Society for Pneumology and Beatmungsmedizin e.V. - right and actively shape the supply in the intensive care sector as well as in the conciliation service.

The Weaning Station 4 with 12 beds is part of the certified Weaning Centre in the Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln. Here, patients are supervised, in which it is complicated to pamper them from long-term breathing. Multi-professional teams work together to reconcile patients as soon as possible from the respiratory machine or to prepare them as best as possible for dismissal, possibly also with respiration, home or in a care facility.

Support for nursing and medical services in the direct activities of the patient's bed, carrying out and monitoring invasive and non-invasive respiratory forms and controlling and monitoring the weaning process

Self-responsive respiratory management, guidance and counselling of rehabilitative measures as well as care for patients in intensive care and cooperation in the respiratory therapy unit for the normal stations after existing breathing therapy concept

Participation in case and transmission management in subsequent areas, administrative tasks and ensuring documentation

Advice and training of all employees as an expert in ventilation care on the basis of current scientific knowledge and participation in quality-protection measures
