Your tasks:

Your responsibility

• Head of the group Radiation Protection for the areas FRG and HL as well as deputy function as radiation protection officer:r incl. Participation in readiness
• Ensure monitoring of radiation levels, air activity and contamination in FRG and HL plants
• Advising the management level with regard to necessary operational radiation protection measures
• Establish and implement measures to monitor staff and workplaces in radiation protection
• Responsibility for environmental monitoring and personal-endosimetric control
• System responsibility for radiation protection-specific measurement technology and their use
• Organisation and participation in specialist discussions, supervisory visits and the preparation and maintenance of specialist instructions, risk assessments and performance directories

Your qualifications:

Your profile

• Successfully completed university studies (Dipl.-Ing. [UNI] or M.Sc.) in nuclear engineering, nuclear engineering, nuclear chemistry, nuclear physics or comparable discipline
• Multiannual professional experience in radiation protection and first leadership experience
• Knowledge of nuclear law (AtG, StrlSchG, StrlSchV) and nuclear regulations
• Experience in the application and implementation of nuclear change procedures and nuclear-reviewed reliability
• Professionally exposed to radiation (category A) and safe handling of radiation-protection-specific measurement technology (e.g. contamination monitors, dose power meters, gamm aspectrometry)
• Safe handling of common office software and strong documentation competence
