The SOS Children's Village Berlin is socially oriented with its help for children, families, young people and young adults in the Mitte district of Berlin. We are fully involved in the work with children's village families, educational and family advice, day care, open offers in the family center/MGH, day-to-day design and school social work, support at the transition school/vocational education, youth counselling as well as in offers of professional orientation, preparation and dual training. At the SOS Children's Village Berlin we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in parttime (20 hours/Where)

For many years, our educational and family consultancy office in Moabit has been providing psychosocial advice for children, young people and families in a variety of situations. Already from pregnancy, we are providing advice. Our work is aimed at all families – regardless of origin, religion or sexual orientation. Especially queer young people, parents and families are expressly welcome to us. A small, dedicated and intercultural team with many years of consulting experience is looking forward to working in collegial and supporting you in your start. Your tasks include: Advising children and adolescents in stressful situations of life (e.g. family conflicts, school problems, questions of identity, mental stress) Advising parents and families in matters of education, development insecurity or internal family tensions Crisis intervention in the event of acute stress and risk of child welfare Advice on separation and divorce – child-centered, solution-oriented, with a view to the family system Group offers with preventive approach (e.g. for children in separation families, parent trainings, groups for emotional strengthening) Networking and cooperation with schools, kitas, health and youth welfare institutions responsible participation in child protection and protection, including careful documentation and, if necessary, Risk assessments according to § 8a SGB VIII Participation in team-upervisions, collegial exchange and interdisciplinary further development of our offers
