Our client is an established industrial company with approx. 100 employees at the local location. It impresses with a long historical tradition, a wide range of products for applications in a wide range of industries and the agility of a medium-sized company. As part of a owner-managed international group of companies, it is characterized by a historically grown, extensive machine park with diverse own developments. We are looking for a leadership (m/w/d) with a hands-on mentality for the management of the mechanical engineering/machine construction and technology department.

General responsibility for machine construction with a focus on further development of existing structures, retrofits Head of Engineering, Maintenance and Technical Projects at the Site including Priority, Resource Planning and Budget Control Management and further development of the technical teams (approximately 10 MA) and operational cooperation in the transferred responsibility area Ensuring high plant availability through planning, control and implementation of maintenance and maintenance tasks Implementation of new machine and plant technology Optimization of production processes and layouts Responsibility for technical compliance (work safety, machinery directive, audit obligations) and participation in audits Cross-departmental cooperation and direct exchange with management Management of external service providers and suppliers

Successfully completed technical studies focusing on mechanical engineering, construction multiannual professional experience in a comparable function in design secure user knowledge in 2D and 3D-CAD software Expertise e.g. in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, machine construction Experience in methodology, such as Lean Management Pragmatic, strong leadership with entrepreneurial thinking and acting, high self-responsibility and ability to motivate English language knowledge and willingness to occasional, scheduled service trips
