For our damage organization, we are looking for a leader who not only manages claims operatively, but strategically thinks digitization and automation, and continues to develop our European damage management in a sustainable manner.

In this role, you report directly to our Board of Management and take responsibility for the entire claim organization of the Real Garant.

Total Responsibility for Claims: At the Denkdorf site, you take over the overall strategic and operational responsibility for around 65 employees incl. Executives as well as for the damage management of Real Garant in European markets and relevant product areas. Building digital, automated damage organization: You develop a digital, automated claim organization, unlocks automation and AI potentials along the damage management, ensuring quality, data protection and traceability. Demanding negotiations & management of partners: In your role, you tax manufacturers:inside, traders:inside and service companies, conduct challenging negotiations and represent strategies, results and positions confidently towards management, boards and boards. KPI and performance management are responsible for: With your know-how, you establish an integrated KPI and performance management, conduct measures from damage, portfolio and process data and manage budget, capacities, booking quality and the economic achievement of the damage organization. Developing the claim organization across borders, advancing the development of roles, competencies and working methods, and strengthening a modern, customer-oriented damage culture. Close cooperation with key areas: You work closely with IT, Operations, Product Management, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and the local market organizations, and contribute to optimally gearing damage, product and process decisions.

Strategic profile: Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, high decision-making strength, result orientation as well as sovereign appearance and conflictability. language and negotiation skills: knowledge of German and English; other relevant languages are advantageous. Representative negotiation skills in handling manufacturers:inside, traders:inside and strategic business partners:inside and willingness to international cooperation. Professional claim and transformation experience: experience in controlling damage and performance processes as well as in transformations with measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, customer experience and costs. Safe handling of damage indicators, portfolio data, costs, reserves and risks, as well as well as well-founded experience with digitization, automation, data and AI applications in the damage environment. Leadership experience: Multiannual leadership experience, ideally in the damage or insurance environment, with detectable responsibility for teams and executives. Education & Qualification: Complete study or Bachelor degree in Insurance, Engineering with a focus on automotive technology or a comparable qualification. This place is IDD relevant.
