Deputy Press Spokesperson with a focus on Online Communication (m/f/d)

We need your support: support of the spokesperson for the internal and external communication of the Group; Creation, coordination and editorial support of press releases, statements, articles and contributions for various communication channels (Print, Online, Social Media) Preparation of press conferences, interviews and public appearances by MEPs; observation of the media landscape and analysis of the daily press review; fostering and expanding contacts with journalists and media representatives at national and regional level; support in the strategic development of public relations and communication formats of the Group; Coordination of press and communication activities in close cooperation with MEPs, scientific staff and MEPs

What we expect from you: completed university studies (e.g. communications, political, social or media sciences) or comparable qualification; experience in the press, public or communication work – ideally in the political environment; very good linguistic expressiveness, stylistic writing and a sense of topics, tonality and timing; safe handling of graphics programs (e.g. Canva) and social media; high team capacity, resilience and organisational skills in a dynamic political environment; Ability to prepare complex political issues in a comprehensible and concise manner; a high agreement with the political objectives of the BSW

You can look forward to this: work in the Erfurter Landtag, directly at the site of pioneering political decisions and close to the political events of the Free State of Thuringia a performance-oriented, qualifying remuneration according to TV-L, up to max. E 13 Working models with possibility of mobile working a full-time job with 40 hours per week limited to three months after the end of the 8. Legislature (probably end 2029) the possibility of participating in a dynamic team in shaping political positions and their implementation; self-responsible work with a lot of design playroom while at the same time high flexibility; ;
