The Kiel swimming and sports facilities are a company of the Landeshauptstadt Kiel and responsible for the operation of the indoor swimming pools, the outdoor swimming pools as well as the beaches and swimming bridges of the Landeshaupt-stadt. Various activities in the field of water sports such as aquafitness, swimming courses and leisure events are offered for the whole family.

Your tasks

• They provide the basis for the maximum bathing experience of our guests.
• They take control and maintenance of system networking.
• The operating and waiting of the switching and regulating devices is in your responsibility area.
• Conducting regular water analyses and filter backwashing.
• We require responsible handling of chemicals and dosing of chemicals.
• Work on/with chlorine gas plants - the qualifications for this are obtained from us.
• Plant-specific troubleshooting.
• General mastery activities complete the portfolio.

Your qualification

• Complete training in crafts, e.g. electricians, mechatronics technicians, plant mechanics technicians or comparable.
• experience in plant engineering is desirable; bath-specific qualifications are not necessarily necessary and can be used by means of instruction or training.
• understanding of control and control technology or the willingness to acquire it through further training.
• They have a valid class B driving licence, as the position requires occasional driving.

Good to know

The service plan provides shift services between 5.30 a.m. - 22 p.m. and every 14 days weekend service with leisure compensation. The place can be divided on condition of full-day occupation.

Partial work in confined or warm premises and in any weather shall be carried out in the outdoor area. In this case, stretching and stretching movements, working overhead, high height and under noise, as well as lifting and carrying heavy or very heavy loads are required.
