Your duties

New and further development of software for controlling power-electronic circuits of power supply and island inverters with upstream DC/DC converter stages for photovoltaic, battery systems and fuel cells This includes: Analyze new requirements and create specifications Software specifications, software architecture and documentation Developing hardware-related and real-time software in C/C++ Conducting software reviews and unit tests integration tests on the real device as well as in the hardware-in-the-loop system Support for the associated certifications

Develop automated tests and associated scripts to perform the tests in Continuous Integration Server Working with the selection and optimization of hardware components and their support Keeping the specified dates and quality

Your profile

Complete studies in the field of electrical engineering, technical computer science or comparable training Good knowledge of digital signal processing and control technology, in particular power electronics Good programming knowledge in C/C++ for hardware-related real-time software Knowledge of common script languages such as Python, PowerShell and Bash Knowledge in programming real-time microcontrollers (e.g. TI C2000) Knowledge of hardware, in particular power electronics, desired Experience in software engineering (requirements engineering, process models, test procedures, version management) are advantageous Knowledge of Agile Methods and DevOps Mindset including Continuous Integration are advantageous Experience in the use of generic AI in development are advantageous Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (B2-C1)
