Welding Engineer (m/f/d)

Acquisition of responsible welding supervision (vSAP/SFI/IWE) in steel and metal construction Planning, monitoring and optimization of welding processes in production and assembly Creation, maintenance and testing of welding instructions (WPS) and performance of process and welding tests Organisation and evaluation of non-destructive testing and documentation of results Consultation of project management, construction management and specialist departments in all aspects of welding technology Training and technical assistance of welding personnel and organization of instructions on work safety and welding testing Working with project documentation, acceptances, certifications and maintenance of corporate certificates Ensuring compliance with work safety, environmental and quality standards

You have a successfully completed mechanical engineering study or a comparable degree as well as additional qualification for the welding specialist IIW1170 Experience in welding technology, ideally in steel, piping or engineering (receivers with valid qualification are also welcome) Knowledge of relevant welding standards, quality standards and VOB of advantage Experience in non-destructive testing or as a coating inspector is desirable Secure handling of MS Office and common building software solutions (e.g. RIB iTWO, BIM tools) Responsible, structured and independent work Team skills, enforcement opportunities and good communication skills
