In the Department of Finance of the Central University Administration, the position of the Customs expert (m/w/d; 100%, E 13 TV-L) to occupy. The place is indefinite.

Advice and supervision of scientific institutions and administrative units in all customs matters Cooperation with customs authorities, forwardings and internal project and third-party centres Preparation and verification of customs documents, export declarations, preferential certificates and certificates of origin Support in the further development of customs processes, training of employees Monitoring of legal changes in customs and external economic law Close cooperation and coordination with the Compliance Department in the field of export control

An economic or legal scientific study with a focus on external economics/customs or a comparable qualification with many years of relevant professional experience Knowledge of German and European customs law and foreign trade law Ideally experience in the scientific environment or in public service Safe application of customs software (e.g. ATLAS) Responsible, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Embossed communication skills and service orientation Knowledge in science management, preferably at a university are advantageous Ability to target group-oriented communication Reliability and a high level of responsibility, commitment and motivation, independent and efficient work Happy work in the team Good knowledge of English Conceptual competence Safe handling of MS Office products
