The Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz is the largest private initiative for preservation in Germany. Since 1985, it has been creative, professionally informed and independent for the preservation of endangered architectural monuments. Its holistic approach is unique and extends from the emergency maintenance of endangered monuments, educational school and youth programs to the nationwide action “Day of the Open Monument®”. The Foundation supports around 600 projects annually, mainly thanks to the active support and donations of over 200,000 sponsors. Our team consists of about 180 highly-engaged employees at two main locations in Germany (Bonn and Berlin) with the most diverse profiles and expertise. In order to strengthen our team's funding allocation in the Department of Reconstruction, we are looking for an indefinite position in Bonn Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time

Advising applicants on all issues of funding (procedures, criteria, requirements, diekmalcare measures) Examination, assessment and evaluation of applications Assessment of planned renovation and restoration projects on site Coordination with internal and external partners (e.g. lower and upper memorial authorities) Establishment of funding programmes for individual Länder in relation to annual budgets and donations financial and practical development of support projects team-oriented cooperation with the project architects of the department and cooperation on team-wide projects scientific research, editing and editing texts Create themed project lists and shortxposés secure arrangement of the art and architecture historical value of objects sovereign representation of the Foundation and its values nationwide, multi-day missions

Interest and joy in cultural topics completed university studies of art/architecture history, preservation with the qualification master or comparable general knowledge in the field of building history / conservation standards, historical construction techniques and materials required very good knowledge of architectural terminology very safe knowledge of German language in word and writing at least 3 years of practical experience in the field of preservation IT affinity and safe handling of the MS Office package and database experience is required Communication joy, team capability, good sensitivity and secure judgment, integrity, endurance and resilience independent, structured and responsible operation Car driver's license
