Work environment The Federal Agency for Labour, together with the municipal agencies, operates around 300 job centers nationwide. The tasks of the job center are primarily the performance parole and the placement in work and training. The customers are often burdened by complex problems. The aim is always to enable return to working life and social participation. Are you looking for an activity in the social environment with customer contact, versatile tasks and facts? Then apply as a specialist in performance at the Jobcenter.

Tasks and activities • Your activities include the acceptance and processing of applications, as well as the decision of matters with a high degree of difficulty (complex cases, in particular new applications). In doing so, check the entitlement requirements for the benefit and bring cash benefits on the basis of the SGB II in time for payment • They advise customers as well as help-seekers as part of the application, as well as on the further performance related to SGB II (unemployed money II/social money) and provide information in cases with high difficulty • They work closely with internal departments (e.g. employment services) and external bodies (e.g. health insurance funds, pension insurance institutions, youth and social assistance providers or housing funds) • They are professional contact persons for colleagues and consider decisions on performance requests to be correct (legality) • In addition, you will complete the ongoing case processing in your assigned area (e.g. further authorisations, adjustments in the performance calculation due to changes or request of documents). This includes, for example, the processing of contradictions, cancellations and receivables, requests for verification or claims for compensation • They often work with special computer programs, electronic files and therefore with many digital documents and documents

Preconditions • a (specialised) college degree (ideally from the social security, administration, law, financial and accounting or personnel management) • as an alternative, an at least three-year professional experience with tasks and requirements comparable to the written activity, as well as the (skilled) university maturity, professional training or completed vocational training (ideally in the commercial sector or in the fields of administration, social security or law) We also value • a very good understanding of legislative texts and an understanding of the implementation of new provisions • a high IT affinity or willingness to work on new IT procedures • a high customer orientation, service readiness and initial experience in telephone customer contact • a positive basic attitude towards all people and a high acceptance of the social security system in the Federal Republic of Germany Ideally you still bring • Joy in dealing with numbers and calculations • experience in the application of legal texts as well as basic knowledge of the legal bases in social law (SGB II, SGB III, SGB I and SGB X) and overarching legal areas (e.g. in the field of parental allowance, child benefit, maintenance allowance etc.)
