Digital Workplace Platform Administrator (f/m/x)

As a Digital Workplace Platform Administrator (f/m/x) at Sysmex Europe SE, you will help design, administer, and enhance our Microsoft 365–based digital workplace environment. In this role, you will ensure that employees can work productively and secure from any location while contributing to a seamless and modern digital experience across the organization. Your key responsibilities include:

Designing, optimising, and managing the lifecycle of Sysmex's Microsoft 365 digital workplace ecosystem Overseeing and maintaining the Microsoft Windows client operating system environment across the organization Administering and supporting core Microsoft 365 services such as Intune, Exchange/Outlook, Teams (including Teams UC), OneDrive, SharePoint, Defender, and related applications Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 services, applications and integrations Managing and expanding corporate devices, including smartphones, through Microsoft Intune while ensuring internal policies Packaging, testing, and deploying client applications using Microsoft Intune to ensure reliable software delivery Coordinating and executing operating system and application updates and patching using standard Sysmex tools such as Microsoft Intune and Ninja-One Monitoring system performance, identifying opportunities, and recommending enhancements Generating and analysing reports on system performance, security posture, and usage trends Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT colleagues, especially in areas related to Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Collaborating closely with other IT teams to support broader infrastructure initiatives and cross-functional projects

Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths: 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a corporate IT environment Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 services (e.g. Intune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender) Good knowledge of Entra ID and Active Directory Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Ninja-One is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical issues Good communication skills and the ability to support and train IT colleagues Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices Experience analysing business requirements and contributing to IT solution design Ability to coordinate or contribute to IT projects in cross-functional teams Fluency in English
