Become part of our development team in Karlsruhe and actively participate in the digitalization of planning and manufacturing processes. As part of our development department, you develop digital products for customers from the construction and manufacturing industry. This is not about classic individual programming, but rather the analysis of complex engineering processes and their conversion into scalable software solutions. You work directly with specialist specialists, designers, product managers and technical leaders of our customers and develop solutions that digitally map and automate real planning and manufacturing processes. Analyze and optimize planning, construction and manufacturing processes of our customers, as well as take up and structuring technical requirements in close cooperation with specialist departments Developing technical target images, software architectures and designing configurators, planning tools and engineering systems Creating implementation plans and technical specifications as a basis for the development of productive software solutions Implementation of new solutions using modern software development and AI tools Accompanying the introduction of new systems from the first idea to productive use Developing own platforms, plug-ins and cloud applications Cooperation with internal and external development teams and support in the successful integration of new solutions

Complete study of computer science, civil engineering, architecture or a comparable subject Multiannual experience at the interface between engineering and software development as well as thorough understanding of planning, construction or manufacturing processes Very good knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g. C#, Python) and experience in handling AI-based development tools Understanding software architectures, data models and system integration Knowledge in handling CAD systems and CAD APIs (e.g. Revit, Rhino, Tekla, HiCAD, Inventor or comparable solutions) Ability to discuss technical problems with customers at eye level, as well as interest in industrial product and manufacturing processes Self-employed, structured and analytical methods, excellent knowledge of German and occasional readiness to travel
