Operational legal advice: They support the TÜV SÜD Group from the headquarters. Your focus is on the Product Service Division. As part of a global player and market leader in the highly regulated testing, inspection and certification industry (TIC – Testing, Inspection, and Certification), you are involved in the safety of products that really matter - whether they are consumer goods, commercial products or medical devices. They advise and support the management and operational colleagues legally in tendering, contract negotiations and contracts as well as in the handling of existing contractual relations. They create, examine and negotiate contracts and other legal documents and support management as well as specialist departments in conflict and damage cases and in legal disputes. They work closely with other areas and companies of the TÜV SÜD Group, (inter-)national and interdisciplinary. They ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal guidelines. They conduct and coordinate legal communication with business partners, authorities, in particular accreditation authorities, and external lawyers. You keep the legal overview and make proactive with changing regulatory challenges. Standardisation and harmonisation of legal documents: They conceptualize, implement standards and patterns for contracts and other legal documents in the TÜV SÜD Group. In particular, they harmonize legal documents in the Group companies in Germany and abroad for the Product Service Division. They develop, organize and maintain training and are responsible for the roll-out of standardized or harmonised documents and the support of management and colleagues in the German and international group companies in the application of these documents. Developing together with the project managers of our Legal Operation Team They use innovative digital tools or already existing digital tools in the market to support standardization and harmonisation. They report to the responsible Head of Legal of the Product Service and Business Assurance Division.

They are full lawyers (1st and 2nd legal state exams) with at least satisfactory exam results or have an equivalent degree. Applications with other legal university degrees are also welcome for above-average qualifications and relevant professional experience.
