We are looking for a Senior Java Software Developer (m/w/d) for the next possible event for the Münster, Hannover or Frankfurt am Main sites.

You are one of the driving forces in the migration of Cobol to Java programs in a central place? You are

important work on new and varied topics in a good team? You go ahead in the team and can take your team along? Then you're right with us!

Your tasks:

• You are at the spearhead of the cross-site team for the migration of Cobol programs into platform-independent Java technology
• You are on the move in exciting IT projects across the product range of financial informatics (including Kernbank, stationary and media distribution, bank control, cross-section)
• With your Java expert knowledge you enrich our project teams
• Coordination and development of young Java developers (m/w/d) in the project team
• Conceptual and technical consulting of the project management and the departments
• Self-responsible further development of the migrated components

Your profile:

• Completed IT studies or comparable training (e.g. specialist informatics)
• Long-standing expertise in software development with Java and JavaScript as well as in the execution of software migrations
• Ideally knowledge with development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Git/Github, Jenkins, Nexus
• Needed knowledge of Cobol development or the willingness to work into the Cobol programs to migrate them to Java
• Reliable and independent action with an analytical, targeted approach
• Interest in new topics and joy in working in the team
