As Head of Software Development (m/w/d), you take over the disciplinary and strategic direction of a software engineering team. This is not only about management – you give clear orientation, coach, give feedback and build an engineering culture in which code quality, technological excellence and continuous improvement are not only buzzwords, but lived practice. Leadership with Impact – You lead your team with vision, clarity and a high level of technical expertise. Whether 1:1 talks, mentoring or team workshops – you support your employees and create an inspiring, powerful working environment. Strategy & Innovation – Together with your team, you develop modern software solutions and set the technical guidelines for sustainable innovation. You keep the tech radar high, identify trends and actively advance technological developments. Engineering Excellence – Quality and efficiency are not a contradiction for you, but a prerequisite. Whether clean code, CI/CD, test automation or scalable architectures – you make sure that our engineering area remains high-performant and grows continuously. Utilities & SAP – With our deep expertise in the supply industry, we develop smart software solutions for the energy industry. We use SAP as a central platform – and you design the next generation of our utilities solutions with your technical vision. You have a degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification and brings several years of experience in managing and scaling development teams. Modern software development processes, agile methods and clean code principles are familiar to you, and you have sound knowledge in the SAP environment. With your strategic thinking and strong communication skills, you enthuse your team and understand complex technical relationships. You have experience in budget planning and responsibility and combine technology with business requirements. Flowing knowledge of German and English as well as a pronounced curiosity and joy of innovation complete your profile – because you want to not only manage but actively shape it.
