Senior Software Engineer* Java Backend & Databases You take responsibility for our self-developed production database and ensure their stability, performance and further development You maintain and expand our Java backend architecture including the associated REST interfaces In the Manufacturing Engineering team, you continuously develop our production tools and contribute significantly to an efficient and modern production process In close cooperation with the production, you will receive direct feedback from local users – which allows fast iterations and practical, effective solutions Together with colleagues from Production and R&D, you will develop solutions based on requirements profiles and UX designs You actively contribute to the design and implementation of an internationally connected software landscape and thus shape the digital future of our production systems

A completed study of computer science or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in backend development with Java, ideally 7–10 years Knowledge of the design and maintenance of relational databases (e.g. MariaDB, PostgreSQL) Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Ideally experience in the production environment or with MES systems Basic knowledge of Frontend Development and IT Security are beneficial Structured, solution-oriented working and pleasure in interdisciplinary teamwork Enthusiasm, accompanying own software projects from design to architecture and implementation to care Motivation to facilitate the work of colleagues through clever, practical software solutions I'm glad you heard about it....
