Senior IT Service Technician (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, we are concerned about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Senior IT-Servicetechniker (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Veitshöchheim. The service areas provide comprehensive and decentralized service through their service centers. This involves a permanent representation of BWI GmbH on site in the properties of the Bundeswehr. In this context, the area places a great deal of emphasis on compliance with the agreed framework conditions (quality, budget, time and data security), a high customer and benefit orientation as well as a corresponding employee training taking into account the BWI strategy.

For over 56 locations, the Service Center Erfurt is responsible for the decentralized service provision and a permanent representation of BWI GmbH on site in the properties of the Bundeswehr. In addition, the Service Center processes defined task packages within the framework of projects and provides on-site service at the BWI internal IT.

Acceptance of IT and TK denominations, troubleshooting while maintaining existing service levels and documentation in the procedures

Implementation of on-site activities in the context of orders (Install, Move, Add, Change) in the IT and TK environment

Working in (partial) projects to integrate IT/TK infrastructure

Installation and commissioning of hardware in the customer environment and user instruction

Maintenance and update of hardware and software products to maintain operational capability

Coordination and implementation of DGUV V3 exams

Cyclical provision of readiness services

Successfully completed training as a specialist system integration, IT system electronics or comparable

At least 3 years of professional experience in the IT and TK environment

Knowledge of ticket systems and good knowledge of IT processes

ITIL identifiers (certification desirable)

Organizational talent, self-employment, team and communication skills

German language skills and basic knowledge in English

driving licence class B

DGUV V3 Tester, according to TRBS 1203 for testing electrical equipment
