IT-System Engineer - Hardware / Backup / VMware (m/f/d)

You are responsible for trouble and error analysis in the complex IT landscapes of our customers and ensure smooth operation. You design and implement robust hardware solutions, from servers (Lenovo) to storage (Synology) to network components. You take over the strategic planning and administration of backup (Veeam, Barracuda) and security solutions (Sophos) to ensure data security. You administrate and optimise challenging Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Exchange) and manage the virtualization platforms with VMware. You control IT projects independently from technical design to successful implementation and act as a central technical contact for our customers.

Your basis is a completed IT training as well as at least 3 years of experience in supporting TCP/IP networks and Microsoft client/server environments. You've already worked with virtualization solutions and ideally bring first knowledge in the area of backup solutions. As contact person:for our customers, you communicate in German (C1 level); good English skills are a plus. You work independently, you like to join the team and convince yourself with your solution-oriented and communicative way. For use with our customers: you have a class B driving licence in the spot.
