We are looking for a dedicated team leader for our air freight import team at the Neu-Isenburg site. You run the air freight import team at the Frankfurt location in a professional and disciplined manner and ensure efficient resource and layer planning.

You will unwind international air freight import shipments and plan efficient solutions for delivery.

You enter customers throughout the entire transport process and act as an escalation entity for operational challenges.

You coordinate cooperation with truckers, handling agents, customs authorities and customs agents as well as national and international branches.

You monitor import duty and ensure compliance with all customs and security regulations.

You track shipments, communicate proactively with deviations and control the processing of complaints.

You set up output invoices and check or release input invoices.

You analyze and tax relevant KPIs such as productivity, service quality, delivery performance and cost development.

You identify optimization potentials and implement measures to improve processes, quality and efficiency.

You support the development of employees through coaching, training and regular performance assessments.

You work closely with sales, gateway, customs, warehouse and regional management to successfully implement customer requirements and corporate goals.

You have a completed training as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services or a comparable logistical qualification as well as several years of experience in the air freight import.

You have a well-founded knowledge of customs processing as well as dealing with international customers, airlines, authorities and network partners.

You bring multi-year leadership experience or detectable experience in the professional management of teams.

You master MS Office safely and have experience with Dakosy; Knowledge of CargoWise One is beneficial.

You ideally have knowledge in the hazardous goods sector (DGR) and in the field of air safety.

You have strong skills in the areas of employee management, conflict management and change management.

You work structured, result-oriented and entrepreneurial and convince by high self-initiative.

You have experience in the analysis and control of KPIs as well as in cost and quality management.

You communicate safely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.

You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
