The Grünau Hotel – a small house with great potential – is located between the vibrant Berlin and the green expanse of Brandenburg. From 20 April 2026 it will be run under the new name “Hotel Waldzeit”. With our restaurant we create a place where you feel comfortable and like to come together – honest, regional and cooked with love. Since January 2026, the house belongs to the mayor Reuter Foundation Group. The restaurant “Zum Grünau”, which starts with a new concept from May, creates a modern and at the same time grounded meeting place – characterized by quality and genuine hospitality. You are the first contact person for our guests and ask for a warm welcome – from arrival to departure. Check-in, check-out as well as reservations and the entire guest correspondence you are committed independently and professionally. Inquiries and bookings for meetings, groups and events you will work in close coordination with our sales team. You take care of our meeting and event guests and ensure a smooth process. You will be careful in our systems. E-mails answer structured and friendly; also in challenging situations with guests you stay sovereign and solution-oriented. You will always arrange for a well maintained and welcoming reception area. You work flexibly in early, late and occasionally in the night service.

Ideally, you have experience at the reception or a completed training in the hotel compartment. You love the guest contact and convince by a friendly, professional and service-oriented appearance. Organizational talent as well as a structured and reliable way of working. Also in stressful situations, you keep an overview, work solution-oriented and always remain sovereign. Ideally, you have first experience in the conference or event area or you have an interest in developing yourself in this area. You can easily handle digital systems; Knowledge of hotel software (e.g. Opera) is of advantage or are quickly learned by you. You have very good knowledge of German and English (min. B2); Other languages are a plus. Flexibility belongs to you – you work in early, late and occasionally in the night service.

You will receive an unlimited employment contract in full or part-time. 30 days holiday per year (at a 5-day week) and two additional free days on 24.12. and 31.12. – if you have no service on these days. Otherwise you will get two compensation days. A tax-free allowance of 50 Euros per month – either as a grant to the VBB company ticket, as a Pluxe Benefits Card or for corporate fitness (Wellpass).
