Global Lead Buyer Wind Europe

As part of the Global Lead Buyer Wind Team, you are responsible for the procurement process for supply and service contracts for the key components of our projects - with a special focus on the German market.

Implementation of the procurement strategy, framework contracts and procurement processes for delivery projects and long-term service contracts Head of Supplier Qualification and Management of Strategic Supplier Relations in the German and European Wind Market Creating selection proposals in cooperation with business development and project development and ensuring approval according to our governance requirements Support for operations in the management of long-term service contracts and maintenance of strong relationships with wind turbine manufacturers Confirmation of qualified wind turbine suppliers for admission to EPC tenders and contracts Implementation of EPC offer comparisons and supplier risk analyses to support the selection of the preferred tenderer Direction of Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes for wind turbines - including coordination of disciplines, negotiations and alignment with RFQ schedules - as well as contribution to market analyses and supplier performance reports for the Category Manager

Complete study of economics, engineering and a comparable relevant field 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement and/or project management, business development, sales or contract management Experience in the field of renewable energies, in particular in the onshore wind sector Process-oriented mode of operation as well as distinct organizational skills for controlling several projects and prioritizing requirements Evidence of strong negotiating skills and convincing communication, combined with the ability to work in an international environment Very good knowledge of English and German (C1 or higher) readiness for occasional missions within Europe
