The EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven is Germany's only deep water container terminal. The world's largest ships can start the port at any time regardless of the tide and tide. As a “Common user” terminal, it is available to all shipping companies worldwide. Overall, the terminal in Wilhelmshaven, which was commissioned in 2012, is a modern facility that offers shipping customers a high-quality service with productive processes in ship handling. The hinterland is connected via road and rail directly to the terminal, which is continuously expanded. The terminal develops very positively and offers all shipowners a short route and maximum flexibility. For our container terminal in Wilhelmshaven, we are looking for a:n commercial:n employee:in as a cargo shipping controller.

As an interface between customer and terminal, you are available as a contact person in all cargo requests. You provide all the data required for the charging process on time and ensure the documentary pre- and post-processing of the ship's cabin times. You can communicate with authorities such as customs, water protection police or the Veterinary Office. With your experience from system and data management, you actively work on the set-up of the terminal software.

You have a completed commercial training in the fields of forwarding, logistics, shipping or industry or a degree in traffic logistics, logistics management, shipping and maritime logistics, etc. In addition, you could gain first professional practice in the logistical environment, ideally in a container terminal operation or a forwarding. You are strong in organization and planning, have a hand for numbers and data as well as experience in IT-based data management. For your communication-rich function in an internationally operating industry, you need good English knowledge in word and writing.
