With around 230 employees, the municipal real estate service (KIS) serves as the own business of the state capital Potsdam as the municipal real estate stock in the fields of construction investment, construction entertainment and building and service management. Currently, the KIS takes care of 450 individual objects such as schools, daycare centers, administrative buildings, youth and cultural institutions, fire guards and sports facilities and invests over 350 million euros in urban infrastructure over the next four years. This focus is on the sustainable and energy-optimized construction and operation of urban properties.

With us you will be responsible for outstanding real estate projects of the Landeshauptstadt Potsdam from the concept to the handover to the stock management. Dynamic project management and strategic decision preparation: Your working day is characterized by parallel project requirements, especially in the field of sales, maintenance, construction or renovation. When drafting decision templates, take into account the strategic objectives of the Landeshauptstadt for urban development. The implementation of your projects is carried out in close cooperation with the Mayor, the management of the work and the departments of the administration, in which you prepare well-founded decision-making templates and commission, inter alia, feasibility studies and audits. Negotiations and communication at all levels: They negotiate with state secretaries, government leaders and investors and convince with professional competence and diplomatic skills. They moderate between different interests, such as securing school sites against competing land interests or land use. From the press conference to the public meeting you will find the right sound with your fingertips. Networking: They build valuable networks in the political and property environment. Active networking at local, regional and federal levels, including exchange with other municipalities and institutions, is crucial for the successful implementation of the projects. Practical project management and reporting: They establish a transparent reporting system and develop a practice-oriented project management that optimizes the parallel processing of different projects.
