Number: MER00040E5 In the RD/MIT department, we are responsible for the development of all Mercedes-Benz Cars series of air conditioning sizes and are at the forefront when it comes to the topics of thermal comfort, air quality and efficiency. The strategic change with the focus on electromobility represents new opportunities and exciting challenges in terms of efficiency and system design. In this environment, we need employees:inside, looking for opportunities for personal development and varied and challenging tasks. As part of the team “System Responsibility for Thermal Comfort & Air Quality New Product Projects” the core task is to develop, test and ensure the system’s serial suitability for all future car series. This includes the development, testing and evaluation of customer-readable functions, taking into account the global customer requirements, as well as the protection as part of global testing. These challenges include: Support in data evaluation and analysis of real field data Support in the preparation and evaluation of maturity requirements for the Quality Gates (Thermal Comfort and Air Quality) Support for Systems Engineering activities, such as the creation of system specifications and documentation of cross-border requirements Support in day-to-day business, e.g. in the planning and implementation of test drives The activity can begin from May 2026.

Bachelor's or Master's degree programme focusing on mechanical engineering, process engineering, aerospace technology or comparable training or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills EU licence class B (car) Analytical thinking and strategic working Good self-organization General technical understanding, strong curiosity and willingness to learn with Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
