Number: MER00046IX Global Customer Service & Parts (GCSP) is responsible for the global parts and service business of Mercedes-Benz AG. The Global Logistics Center (GLC) is one of the world's largest automotive spare parts warehouses and at the same time the headquarters of the global after-sales supply chain and logistics network of Mercedes-Benz AG. With state-of-the-art warehouse technology and innovative systems, our employees ensure that vehicle customers receive the best service every day. From here we design all supply chain processes and ensure the spare parts supply of our worldwide customers. The International Governance Warehouse Processes, Education & DH (GCSP/PLI) department represents the process and optimization of the supply chain of the 37 wholesale logistics locations worldwide. We define, control and develop the global warehouse standards for the international spare part logistics network and ensure their sustainable implementation. We are moving in a dynamic and international working environment. We are an intercultural team that keeps the team spirit very high. In the Team Standardization Processes Wholesale & Training DH (GCSP/PLI) the following challenges come to you: You support us in structuring, preparing and developing the content and standards developed in the PLUS (Parts Logistics United Standard) project and developing a global communication concept for our international logistics locations You support lean and process optimization projects as well as the preparation, coordination and follow-up of meetings, tasks, measures and project activities in an international environment You support us in building and maintaining our social intranet and SharePoint presentations on standardization and help ensure global communication and transparency of our warehouse standards You're in an international environment. Ideally, you bring the following: Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Communications/Media Studies or Similar Degrees Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office (especially Word and PowerPoint and Excel) Acting in an international environment is fun You like to work in teams, are open, curious and meet the right sound Compared to change processes, you show yourself open You're brave and you want new challenges Class B driving licence desirable Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
