Team Leader Asset Management (m/f/d)

As part of the owner and builder function, asset management is responsible for economic results of assets assigned to the Port Estate & Maritime Affairs division (bases, buildings, quay walls and floating plants). This includes revenues, costs and investments of assets related to their entire life cycle and the planning, control, implementation and control of all value-influencing measures. The Property Management, Project Development and Sales divisions serve as a service provider within Port Estate & Maritime Affairs.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! As a manager, you take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of one team of 6 employees and continuously develop it. In the role as owner*in, you bear the overall responsibility for a real estate portfolio worth around 10 billion. Euro, defines strategic goals and promotes their successful implementation and efficient processes. At the same time, you are the first respondent for internal stakeholders and the customers of the port economy when it comes to strategic or economic issues. With your property-law know-how, you are working on complex contractual and legal issues from the owner's perspective and assisting your colleagues in demanding cases. In addition, you work closely with our internal service providers and ensure smooth processes through active interface management. As part of the commercial asset management, you are fully responsible for individual real estate and land from the creation of business plans to the determination and optimization of costs and revenues to the strategic development. With your market overview, you control sales, develop investment and maintenance strategies and design convincing marketing approaches.

You have a scientific real estate university degree and already have several years of relevant professional experience in commercial asset management. In addition, you have already gained extensive practical experience in the real estate sector and successfully organized, controlled and completed projects. Thanks to your expertise in land and contract management, you can safely move into real estate and commercial issues and bring a broad wealth of experience. You recognize complex relationships of land policy and can assign planning and strategic challenges sovereignly. Ideally, you already have basic knowledge in SAP RE and can use it in daily work. You are a person who brings with it a strong leadership skills that thinks and acts economically and has the pleasure of communicating, coordinating and organizing at different levels of business. Your strong negotiating skills and your enforcement strength are yours.
