Assistant to the Molecular Tumor Board for Precision Oncology (m/f/d)

The German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) is one of the largest cancer research centres in Europe. “Research for a life without cancer” is our mission and for this our world-class scientists work together with all employees. The National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) is a long-term cooperation between the DKFZ, excellent partners in university medicine and other research institutions at six locations in Germany. The aim of the NCT is to quickly and safely bring promising results from cancer research into clinical application. This will provide cancer patients with comprehensive access to innovative treatment approaches. One of the six NCT sites is the NCT Heidelberg, which is supported by the University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD), the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Heidelberg and the Thorax Hospital. To support our interdisciplinary team at NCT Heidelberg, we are looking for an assistance (m/w/d) of the molecular tumor board for precision socology at the next possible time. Reference number: 2026-0167 The DKFZ/NCT/DKTK MASTER (Molecularly Aided Stratification for Tumor Eradication Research) register study uses state-of-the-art molecular characterization methods (Ganzgenom and Transcription sequencing, DNA methylation and proteom analyses and other experimental methods) to create a comprehensive profile from the cancer disorder of a:an individual patient. Targeted treatment options are derived from this profile, discussed across locations in a molecular tumor board (MTB) and implemented together with the treating physicians. Precise sonological programs and clinical studies are carried out at the Clinicial Trial Center of the NCT Heidelberg and rely on an extensive and well-documented database or special database structures that need to be continuously developed. .
