The unit of construction engineering is located in the plant management of the port railway and is responsible for the strategic development of all construction engineering structures. As a service provider, it creates and initiates projects and prioritises measures for safe and reliable plant operation.

As a responsible project contractor*in, you ask that our buildings are safe and ready for use. In your role, you initiate building checks and evaluate them, including the static assessment. Renewal and maintenance projects are launched, accompanied and approved by you. You are actively planning on the project portfolio of the Hafenbahn and agree with other areas. In addition, you develop strategies to further develop our systems. Technical trends are your focus.

You have a completed master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on railway construction. In addition, you bring knowledge in the field of planning, construction and maintenance of structural engineering structures. You are ideally familiar with control and safety technology, overhead, overhead construction and general railway operations. You bring practical experience in project management. In legal issues such as building contract law and environmental law as well as in regulations such as VOB, VOL and HOAI, you are sure to travel. A cooperative approach to project participants is of course for you, as well as a high degree of flexibility. You think strategic, negotiated skill and act sovereignly.
