(Junior) Project Engineer Maritime Missiles and Effectors (m/f/d)

Do you want to model, simulate and evaluate complex maritime missile and effector systems? Does it appeal to you to use modern analysis and simulation methods in interdisciplinary teams and to develop professionally? Would you like to support our expert in the formulation of operational and technical requirements for marine effectors and sensors? The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the monitoring of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Activity

• Modelling and simulation of marine missiles, effectors and their environment – both at component and overall system level
• Working with the analysis of key questions on performance, requirements and optimal system design in the interdisciplinary team
• Application and methodological and technical development of modern analysis and simulation methods, e.g. based on MATLAB/Simulink
• Professional exchange and discussion with customers and industrial representatives
• Support for the establishment of long-term expertise with the aim of developing as a recognised national contact person in the field

Preconditions

• Complete studies in engineering or natural sciences (e.g. LRT, physics, mathematics, computer science) or comparable
• Practical experience with simulation and analysis tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or Python
• Experience in the field of marine missiles
• First experiences in modeling and simulation are advantageous
• Basic understanding of physical relationships in the fields of flight mechanics, control technology or system dynamics desirable
• Very good German and English skills
