Are you passionate about bringing together business promotion, chambers, business, science and administration for pioneering solutions in diverse and exciting projects? You conduct projects and work hand-in-hand with customer teams. You are analysing regions and organisations, developing strategies and concrete measures around our priorities: innovative business locations, sustainable industrial area development and the development of innovation centres. You will help shape the structural change in Germany and in particular in the Ruhr region as well as in the Rhine region by developing and qualifying projects as well as funding applications. You enter your customers from the acquisition phase to the project conclusion. This includes the preparation and implementation of workshops and other creative formats as well as the control of the use of the project teams with economic project responsibility. To write texts, reports and studies is one of your tasks as well as the participation in the acquisition, especially when creating offers.

You have a degree in geography, economics, business management, sociology, spatial planning or similar disciplines. Ideally, you bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, as far as possible in the consulting or project environment. In the topics of sustainability and innovation policy, economic transformation, digitalization, mobility and funding, you have built up a wealth of knowledge and know yourself well with the latest trends. In carrying out regional analyses, project development and financing, you are already tested. You can handle creativity techniques, current workshop methods and moderation techniques safely. You have the pleasure of interacting with a variety of actors: in public, business and science, and bringing together the different perspectives. Ideally, you have a professional network that you can utilise. You are a team player:in, recognize trends and convince with an out-of-the-box thinking. Sustainability and innovation are not Buzz Words for you, but topics that you bring forward with passion and conviction. A structured and solution-oriented approach is obvious to you. You work proactively, bring a lot of initiative and the willingness to travel. We require knowledge of German at a professional level. If necessary, you can also communicate in English. You are practiced and experienced in dealing with the current MS Office software.
