Number: MER00044KC The task is located in the department 'Thermomanagement' (RD/MIM). The department deals with the overall thermal management for all Mercedes-Benz cars with the aim of optimizing the heat balance in the entire vehicle. These include, for example, the design of the cooling openings and the optimization of the air path, the design and release of the cooling circuits, the maintenance of permissible temperature limits on all relevant components and the optimization of the interior comfort. In addition, the department develops all modules and components for the air and media cooling of all Mercedes Benz car series. It operates innovative test stands, a specialized workshop and provides ready-to-measure vehicles for thermal protection. The team 'Testing TAG, Therm. E/E & OF-Komfort' (TAG=Thermische Absicherung Gesamtfahrzeug) equips test vehicles with the required measurement technology for thermal measurements and also performs thermal measurements on vehicles. These challenges include: Set, assemble and configure measurement setups for test vehicles Preparation and implementation of module and measurement technology exchange on the vehicle Preparation of measuring technology for testing and documentation for customs Management of measuring equipment by means of the TeMa database, i.e. - Sort components by use, store and check for calibration date New components of the measurement equipment are provided with RFID tags and care Searches for return dates of measurement equipment Support of engineers on the vehicle Interviews with other departments regarding the use of fair equipment Check/Calibration of Infrared Temperature Sensors Management of Vector-Dongle licenses Prepare equipment for shipping and create shipping instructions The activity can begin from August 2026.
