Senior Expert (m/w/d) Computer-Aided Manufacturing in Niedernhall

As a senior expert for CAM, you are responsible for the central CAM system of the CBT. This system plays a central role in many processes of PCB production. It serves to prepare the design data of our customers for production in the plants. You act as a contact person for the international departments and ensure the smooth operation of the application software as well as its interfaces. Through your activity, you support the company's digital transformation and innovative capability. Your work areas are: For everything: operation, maintenance and update of the central CAM software New design: Adaptations and extensions of the scripts for automation of production preparation Networking Processes: You communicate with Würth IT colleagues responsible for operating the server and network infrastructure on which CAM software is running Increase performance: The CAM software is a central part of the company's digital roadmap. You are responsible for the medium and long-term CAM strategy Keep an overview: Manage the budget for CAM software and the resources needed

Basics: You have extensive knowledge and experience in the CAM environment of production processes. You have a degree in science, engineering or a comparable qualification Knowledge: You have sound knowledge in handling CAM, DNC or CAD systems. Comprehensive knowledge in modern programming languages (especially script languages) are of great advantage Strengths: You are characterized by analytical thinking and a practical way of working.
