The BBK is the head office of the Federal National Crisis Management Agency in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. You assume the technical responsibility for the design of the ‘cooperation’ area with the professional partners of the BBK. These include: Preparing – you take over the consultation preparation of the administration with professional partners of the BBK and provide a uniform external representation. Process management – You coordinate independent processes in your field of expertise. You will continuously develop processes to ensure the best possible ability to act for the BBK even in times of crisis. Strategic further development – you develop the cooperation of the BBK with specialist partners conceptually. By setting up a central specialist service, you will ensure uniform processing and answering by telephone and written specialist requests.

You have successfully completed a scientific study of higher education (Master/ Diploma (Univ.) with reference to the area of responsibility, e.g. in the field of risk prevention, administrative sciences, policy sciences, economics, or a comparable specialist. You have several years of professional experience within the population protection system in Germany. In addition, you will know the relevant legal bases as well as the structures of cooperation with the federal departments, countries and representatives of private aid organisations within the framework of the protection of the population. You have ideally already proven experience in the field of committee work and cooperation with the Confederation and the countries. You quickly adapt to different expectations and needs and have a task-related flexibility. You have fun working together in the team and with external partners. In addition, you are characterized by a pronounced communication capability, joy and service orientation. Very good oral and written language skills (German C2 according to GER) complete your profile. Regular service trips in Germany are open to you. In the case of exceptional requirements, you are prepared to provide flexible service even outside normal working hours. Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organization.
