Hardware Senior Designer

TRONTEQ develops and produces Ethernet switches for vehicles such as city buses and S-Bahn. Our products enable IP-based communication and form the basis for digitalisation in public transport, making use more efficient and attractive.

What is it? We're not looking for a coordinator. We're looking for a hardware mug. You build industrial LTE routers and develop Ethernet switches. You work on the product yourself: schematic, layout review, prototype, laboratory, measurement, test, debugging, redesign, series release. You are responsible for the technical result.

Develop LTE router hardware from concept to series Maintain, improve and redesign Ethernet switches Design, test and optimize circuits Build and operate prototypes Measuring, testing and debugging in the laboratory analyse EMC, temperature, interface and supply topics Find fault causes and turn off Evaluate component alternatives and manage obsolescence Configuring test concepts for production and series Approvals: CE, EMC, Cyber Security, CRA

Multiannual Hardware Development Circuit design and PCB design Design of industrial routers, LTE gateways or Ethernet switches Experience with managed or unmanaged switch designs CE, EMC, RED or comparable industrial authorisations Product care, redesigns and obsolescence management commissioning, measurement, testing and troubleshooting Safe handling of measuring equipment and laboratory experience Basic understanding for firmware, embedded software or Linux
