Project Manager – Electricity/Energy Market Regulations & Products (limited to 2 years) (m/f/d)

You design the regulatory framework of the European electricity and system services markets at the interface between energy management and system management. For this purpose, you are active in ENTSO-E teams and control reserve projects and take care, for example, of harmonizing requirements for control reserve providers, the further development of the Electricity Balancing Guideline and the implementation of requirements from the NC DR. You develop and evaluate ideas or approaches to the future market design as well as the regulatory framework and design ready-to-authorise proposals. You analyze and evaluate how market changes affect, develop TransnetBW positions and agree with internal stakeholders. You also work closely with European regulatory authorities, transmission system operators and other stakeholders.

You have a completed degree (Master/Diplom) in Economics (BWL/VWL), Natural Sciences or Engineering. Finding an understanding of energy economic relationships as well as the ability to structure complex problems at the interface between energy market, technology and regulation, and finding pragmatic solutions will also help you. Experience in the context of European electricity and system services markets is a plus. In English and German, you are confident in the negotiations and you are willing to participate in business trips. You are very happy to work independently, are strong in communication, have a safe appearance and fun on team work.
