As an international Sparring partner, you act as managing director and are responsible for the SSC Accounting area.

Description

Leadership and further development of the Accounting Shared Service Team in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Norway to support globally operating business Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Compilation of balance sheets by US-GAAP Reporting of annual accounts according to local accounting regulations, in particular HGB Management of national and international sales tax obligations Monitoring and approval of accounting documents for business incidents Participation in planning, budgeting and forecasting Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, internal processes, local legal requirements, SOX, internal guidelines and business guidelines Providing all necessary evidence to complete account voting, documented in the accounting workflow system Continuous optimization of accounting processes and cooperation with the Account Team abroad, local financial teams and other stakeholders (e.g. debt management) Close cooperation with the Director Accounting and Controls to continuously improve compliance and control systems Coordination of external, internal and tax audits Active participation in the development of financial processes Management of contracts, including insurance matters, partly in cooperation with the corporate sector Support for corporate management tasks, e.g. in the preparation of corporate decisions

Completed studies or equivalent qualifications in finance or accounting, ideally with experience in auditing Multiannual professional and leadership experience in comparable positions Detectional competence in leadership and further development of versatile teams - both on site and across site Experience in performance management and target tracking Very good knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel, as well as in modern ERP systems (preferably SAP) and common communication tools German and English knowledge in word and writing Proactive, independent and structured operation Embossed hands-on mentality as well as high team and service orientation Ability to set priorities under time pressure and deliver on time Joy in working in an international, dynamic business environment Expressed readiness for change and willingness to design
