Senior Project Manager - Bioprocess Consumables (m/f/d)

As a Senior Project Manager - Bioprocess Consumables, you act as a core team leader of a cross-functional project team with full responsibility for project scope, project budget and technical implementation and are responsible for the project success towards the Eppendorf Senior Management Team.

You plan, tax and realize complex, agile development projects up to standard maturity and market launch of innovative and competitive products including accessories. You make sure that projects, within schedule and budget, remain within the agreed scope and meet all quality and regulatory requirements. You conduct the interdisciplinary project team through all phases of the project - from the survey of requirements, concept and budgeting to the transfer to production - and take on the team's technical leadership and motivation. You work closely with internal and external partners, specialist departments, stakeholders and international teams and ensure clear, transparent communication on project status and project results. You regularly report to management about project progress, milestones, risks and next steps. You identify project risks at an early stage, develop appropriate countermeasures and escalate topics structured to the management level as needed. You are responsible for achieving your individual goals and promoting a performance-oriented team culture. You actively shape strategic initiatives and improvement projects in the field of innovation and program management and bring your experience from work with multi-site project teams. You conduct end-to-end projects on your own in the field of bioprocess variables and represent the project internally and externally. You’ll create and support detailed project plans, resource and cost planning including Capex and will keep milestones, budgets and delivery targets in mind. You define project phases and prototypes, secure the necessary documentation and establish tools as well as best practices for efficient project tracking. You plan and moderate agile processes (e.g. rule meetings, reviews, retrospectives), integrate relevant stakeholders and actively support your team in eliminating obstacles. You promote a culture of urgency and solution-oriented discussion in the team without losing sight of the great whole and long-term goals. You moderate workshops and team meetings targeted and use appropriate methods to achieve constructive results. You build a powerful project team, motivate your colleagues to develop innovative solutions. You make sure that the project team works according to Lean Development principles and corporate standards and that the project documentation is continuously maintained. You work closely with internal departments, other specialist departments, external partners and the corporate headquarters to ensure project success and to develop internal processes, tools and Kaizen principles.

You have a completed technical master's degree (e.g. engineering, natural science). You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the field of plastic variables or comparable products. You have proven that you have successfully managed at least two new product development projects from product definition to market launch. You have a strong experience in managing interdisciplinary teams, managing obstacles and bringing projects to success on time. Ideally, you have already worked in the life science industry and know their requirements. You have experience in work within a quality management system, preferably according to ISO 13485. You work process-oriented and use project management tools efficiently. You can effectively control teams in a matrix organization via lateral guidance. You can speak English fluently and communicate safely in an international environment. A class 3 (or B) licence rounds off your profile.
