Specialist in Visceral Surgery (m/w/d)

Our Department of General, Visceral and Thorax Surgery includes a DKG-certified Visceral oncological Center for Intestinal Cancer and Pancreastumors and a DGAV-certified obesity centre with nearly 200 interventions per year. A team of experienced surgeons, complemented by junior staff, forms the entire width of the specialist. The spectrum includes complex open and laparascopic abdominal and thoracic operations. In addition, capacities are available in outpatient operations. Approximately 1900 operations are carried out annually. As a reinforcement of our team, we are ideally looking for a visceral surgeon with experience in obesity surgery. The current job key is 1/5/6. Our obesity team consists of two ecotrophologists, an experienced coordinator, another obesity surgeon next to the chief physician and dedicated professionals.

A completed specialist training in surgery, ideally with additional name visceral surgery or special visceral surgery Experience in obesity surgery and interest in the further development of the field Teamability, commitment and ability to actively shape the area Willingness to take responsibility and work interdisciplinary Ideally experience in managing a medical team
