Solution Architect Application Management (m/f/d)

Analysis, definition and optimization of business processes with a focus on manufacturing, engineering and procurement as well as design of the interfaces between business stakeholders and IT service providers including the creation of technical and technical specifications (BRD, FRS, Architecture Blueprints) Development of target and transition architectures (TO-BE, AS-IS) for the entire application landscape, definition of integration patterns, such as APIs, IDOCs, OData, REST, MQ and ensuring non-Functional requirements Overall responsibility for planning, controlling and implementing the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA as well as coordination of change management, cut-over and go-live activities in close cooperation with Process Managers, key users, infrastructure and security teams Establishing architectural guidelines, review processes and quality metrics, participation in Steering Committees, status reporting and risk management, as well as mentoring junior architects and business analysts Evaluation of new technologies such as Cloud, Edge, AI/ML in the context of the application landscape, promotion of best practice approaches (SAP Activate, DevOps, Agile) and continuous support for innovation and process improvements

Complete studies in business informatics, computer science or engineering as well as 5-8 years of experience in the architecture of SAP ERP landscapes, ideally SAP ECC and S/4HANA, complemented by industry-specific practice in overwater shipbuilding knowledge of integration platforms, data migration techniques such as LTM, SAP Data Services, ETL and basic knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform; project-related experience with SAP Activate, Prince2 or Scrum as well as desirable certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate – S/4HANA, TOGAF, ArchiMate Detectable experience in professional leadership, moderating workshops and preparing decisions, combined with strong communication skills as a link between business and IT, segment-level stakeholder management and the ability to present complex technical content in a comprehensible way Analytical thinking, structured problem solving skills, pronounced team orientation and high sense of responsibility Very good knowledge of German and good English as well as readiness for occasional travel in Germany and abroad
