Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Wernau (Neckar) As an area manager, you are the central contact person for the optimal use and design of our real estate areas. You are responsible for the strategic planning and operational implementation of surface concepts and contribute significantly to the efficiency and attractiveness of our working environments. You analyze the current land use in detail and identify optimization potentials through occupancy analyses and space utilization studies. You will then develop and implement efficient surface concepts that optimally take into account the costs, functionality and the needs of our employees. In addition, you continuously monitor and control the area coverage and create meaningful area balances as well as reports. You coordinate and manage independently moving, rebuilding and minor renovation projects in the area management sector. For these projects, you consolidate requirements, create performance directories and accompany tenders in close cooperation with the various structures of the Facility Management. During the planning phase, you monitor the dates, budgets and quality of the projects, as well as compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (e.g. work protection, fire protection). You maintain and develop our surface and occupancy data in CAFM and CAD systems and are thereby implementing measures to increase efficiency. As a central contact person, internal departments and external service providers provide comprehensive advice on issues of land use and job design.

Education: completed studies in Facility Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Management or a comparable qualification experience and know-how: multi-year professional experience in area management, ideally in a larger industrial company; sound knowledge of the development and implementation of surface concepts; Experience in project management of moving and rebuilding projects; safe handling of CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, BIM) and CAFM systems (e.g. Archibus); good knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project Personality and mode of operation: You can analytically penetrate complex land use data and derive precise problem solutions from it; You communicate your concepts convincingly and successfully bring your ideas to the team and to stakeholders; Their work is characterised by self-responsibility and a clear structure Languages: knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
