As an integration architect (m/w/x) you are responsible for the holistic design, design and implementation of modern integration solutions within our system landscape. You develop robust technical architectures and provide the basis for a secure, performant and scalable exchange of data and processes between internal and external applications. In this role, you define integration concepts and data models and select suitable technologies and tools, including SAP PI/PO or API management platforms. You design and implement seamless interfaces between systems, applications and data sources and accompany the entire development process from conception to successful commissioning. In addition, you analyze existing integration landscapes, identify vulnerabilities and optimization potentials and develop solutions that ensure long-term stability and further development. Ensuring scalability, security and performance is one of your core tasks as well as creating clear technical documentation, architecture plans and binding standards.

Your team The SMT-IT is an internal provider of support services for the areas and production sites of the world market leader ZEISS. Due to the long-term strong growth of the SMT subarea, new requirements in the field of application and system integration are constantly emerging.

You have successfully completed a degree in (economic) informatics, engineering, physics or comparable

Deep understanding of integration architectures, web services (REST, SOAP), APIs and middleware technologies

Found experience in software development, system integration and ideally with platforms such as SAP (e.g. SAP S/4HANA) and Azure

Analytical thinking: ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions

Communication strength: switching between IT teams, project leaders and stakeholders

Experience in the field of integration solutions

Very good knowledge of German and English
